ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was started in 2002. It offers B.E degree programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering. This course is affiliated to the Anna University with a intake capacity of 60 students.
The undergraduate B.E (ECE) degree programme is of four years duration on semester pattern, the first semester being common to all branches of Engineering. The students are trained in the areas of basic Electronics, Communication and computer hardware.
The department has highly motivated and well qualified faculty members. It has excellent infrastructural facilities to provide education and training of high quality in the areas of Communication, Computer and Electronics Engineering.

All under graduate students are encouraged to work on individual projects.
The Department has the following well equipped and spacious laboratories:
 Electronic Circuit, Devices & Design Lab.
Microprocessor and Control lab.
Digital system design & Signal Processing Lab.
Communication System Lab.
Electronic System Design Lab.
The Electronics & Communication Engineering Department’s Association provides a platform/forum for the student to get the exposure in the latest technology and other soft skills.
In plant Training and Industrial visits are regularly arranged for the students to get the industrial exposure and practical knowledge.
